Canvas Creation 2
A family I knew was adopting a child from Africa.
I printed out a picture of Africa and traced it to the white contact paper. I used a X-acto knife to cut along the tracing. I peeled the back off the contact paper and placed it on the canvas. Be careful because it does not provide a hard seal. I had to make sure I took my time so the paint would not seep under the contact paper.
I had their two children help me paint the canvas and the yellow Africa. Once the canvas dried I took rubber stamp letters and painted them white. I use the stamper to place the words onto the canvas. This was the verse that confirmed the leading they should adopt from Africa. I later added a heart and the child name to the location they adopted (no picture).
