Once a year the daycare I worked at threw an event called Family Fun Night. It was an event we hosted for the families. We provided games, a bounce house, food, activities, souvenirs, and invited a local musician to perform at the end of the event. We rented a bounce house, spin art machine, snow cone machine, and provided the main dish. We asked families to bring food to share. We order decorations from Oriental Trading and the rest were created.
Souvenirs: Compass Rings and Flashlights
Activities: Bird Feeders, Nature Sensory Table, Fishing, and Spin Art.
I printed out large version of each animal. I printed each picture on multiple pages. I cut each picture out and taped it together. Then traced it onto a piece of cardboard. I used a large sharpie to fill in each animal. Animals: Wild Turkey, Fox, Squirrel, Bear, Raccoon, Beaver, and Skunk.
Fake Fire Pit:
Piece of cardboard, a small box, sticks, felt, and a hot glue gun. We used a spare tire to lift the fire pit. We had log stumps for the playground we moved for the event.
Pieces of cardboard, sticks, hot glue gun, staple gun, and a wooden stake.
Someone can use all the ideas for a camping themed birthday party.
